50 Districts of The Country in The Red Zone!

This time, The Government of Bangladesh has decided to hold an area-based lockdown to prevent coronavirus (Covid-19) infection. Based on the number of victims, legal action has been taken by identifying the whole country including Dhaka in the red, yellow and green zones and initiatives have been taken to implement it. The most affected areas are marked as red, the least affected areas as yellow and the least affected or free areas as green zones. In the meantime, 50 districts of the country have been completely locked down by identifying red zones.

The website of the government's Information and Communication Technology Department shows three divisions, 50 districts and 400 upazilas of the country as red zones or complete lockdown. Yellow zone or partial lockdown is being shown in five divisions, 13 districts and 19 upazilas. And not green zone or lockdown is being shown to one district and 85 upazilas.

Gazipur, Gopalganj, Kishoreganj, Madaripur, Manikganj, Munshiganj, Narayanganj, Narsingdi, Rajbari, Shariatpur and Tangail are completely locked down in the latest updated list displayed on the website of the Information and Communication Technology Department through the combined efforts of 10 partner organizations and teams including the Ministry of Health. In this section, only Dhaka and Faridpur are being called partial lockdown.

Barguna, Barisal, Patuakhali and Pirojpur are being called as complete lockdown in Barisal division. Bhola and Jhalokati in Barisal division have been called partial lockdown.

Brahmanbaria, Chandpur, Comilla, Cox's Bazar, Feni, Khagrachhari, Laxmipur and Noakhali of Chittagong division are being called as complete lockdown. Bandarban, Chittagong and Rangamati of this division have been called partial lockdown.

Within the Khulna division, Chuadanga, Jessore, Khulna, Meherpur, Narail and Satkhira are being called a complete lockdown. Bagerhat, Kushtia and Magura of this division are being called partial lockdown. Jhenaidah has been identified as the only green zone or not lockdown in the Khulna division.

There is a complete lockdown between Bogra, Joypurhat, Naogaon, Natore and Rajshahi in Rajshahi division. Chapainawabganj, Pabna and Sirajganj of this division are being called partial lockdown.

All the eight districts of Rangpur division are being called complete lockdown. The districts are Dinajpur, Gaibandha, Kurigram, Lalmonirhat, Nilphamari, Panchagarh, Rangpur and Thakurgaon.

All the districts of Sylhet division i.e. Habiganj, Moulvibazar, Sunamganj and Sylhet are being called as complete lockdown.

All the districts of Mymensingh division are also being called complete lockdown. These districts are Jamalpur, Mymensingh, Netrokona and Sherpur.

The website of the Ministry of Health is showing 36 areas of Dhaka metropolis as yellow zones or partial lockdown. 11 areas are shown as no green zone or lockdown. So far no area of ​​Dhaka is being shown as a red zone or a complete lockdown.

The 36 areas identified as Dhaka Yellow Zone or Partial Lockdown are: Adabar, Thana, Uttara East, Uttara West, Wari, Kadamtali, Kalabagan, Kafrul, Kamrangirchar, Kotwali, Khilkhet, Gulshan, Gandaria, Chawkbazar, Demra, Tejgaon, Dakshin. , Darussalam, Dhanmondi, Newmarket, Paltan Model, Pallabi, Bangshal, Badda, Airport, Bhatara, Mirpur Model, Mugda, Mohammadpur, Jatrabari, Ramna Model, Lalbagh, Shahali, Shahjahanpur, Sher-e-Bangla Nagar, Sabujbag, Sutrapur.

The 11 areas identified as non-green zone or lockdown are Uttarkhan Thana, Cantonment Thana, Khilgaon, Turag, Banani, Bahantech, Motijheel, Rampura, Rupnagar, Shahbag and Shampur Thana areas.

According to the latest bulletin of the Department of Health, 63,026 people have been infected with corona in the country till Saturday. In the country, 747 people have died due to coronavirus.
